Named in honor of the wind god and inspired by the intense Bura wind of Stara Baška, the Eola brand embodies freedom, peace, and relaxation. Our collaboration with the Eola team began with an in-depth exploration of this tranquil destination on the Island of Krk, the specifics of this collection of rooms and apartments, and the profile of Eola's guests and its competition. This thorough research helped us define Eola's unique character and how guests connect with this unique location.
We often associate brand identity with elements defined during the brand strategy phase. It is crucial here to capture and communicate all the advantages the brand has in the eyes of the guests and their experience of the destination. The Eola family fulfills every wish of its guests and meticulously attends to every detail of their stay. We represented this fulfillment of wishes through the icon of a dandelion, but not just any dandelion - one that hides within it the letter 'e' (the initial letter of the brand), the sea, and the sun, and is blown by the wind of Stara Baška. We complemented and strengthened this visual storytelling with verbal storytelling through the slogan – "Make a wish."
The Eola project demonstrates how branding can enhance a micro-location and how vital a brand is in communicating a destination and creating unique products and experiences. Eola successfully implemented its new brand last season and started designing additional content, services, and guest experiences.
