J-I-S-T Croatian fine dining

J-I-S-T is a fine–dining restaurant located in Rijeka, Croatia that mainly serves Boškarin meat, a strain of long-horned cattle from the Istrian peninsula.

Boškarin is a symbol of the region which is why we decided to design the restaurant’s identity around the animal’s unique head and long horns. To further enhance the restaurant’s link to tradition we chose a unique name that is rooted to the local dialect, where JIST means to eat.

By combining letters from the restaurant name, Zambelli Brand Design created an impactful typographic logo that reflects the bold yet sophisticated style of the restaurant and its menu.
